Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a representative from Jango Gates Adventures will greet you warmly. You will then board a connecting flight to Kidepo Valley National Park, which typically takes around three hours. On arrival, a 4×4 safari vehicle will transfer you to Apoka Lodge for check-in and relaxation. Later, enjoy a brief evening game drive to get your first glimpse of the park’s diverse wildlife, setting the tone for the days ahead.

Day 2: Game Drive and Cultural Experience
Begin the day with an early morning game drive lasting three to four hours, exploring Kidepo Valley National Park in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other captivating wildlife. Return to the lodge afterward for breakfast and some leisure time by the pool. In the afternoon, visit the Karamojong community to experience their rich cultural traditions and way of life. Conclude the day with an evening game drive, adding more thrilling wildlife encounters to your safari.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Entebbe
Start your day with a final morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. Afterwards, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. Upon arrival, a driver will take you to Papyrus Guesthouse for day room use, giving you a chance to freshen up before your onward journey. For those who prefer, a scenic road transfer to Kidepo Valley can be arranged, though it is considerably longer than flying.
