Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon arriving at Kigali International Airport, a company representative will greet you warmly. After completing customs and currency exchange, you will be transferred to your hotel for some rest. Your driver will also provide an overview of your safari and the upcoming activities. Accommodation: Hotel Des Mille Collines (Luxury hotel in Kigali)

Day 2: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Kigali, visiting notable sites such as the Kigali Gisozi Genocide Memorial and vibrant local markets. Savor lunch in the city before continuing your drive to Musanze, the gateway to gorilla and golden monkey adventures. Along the journey, admire Rwanda’s picturesque landscapes. On arrival, check into your lodge and relax. In the evening, you may opt to visit the scenic Twin Lakes Burera and Ruhondo. Accommodation: Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge (Mid-range lodge near Volcanoes NP)

Day 3: Bisoke Volcano Hike and Cultural Visit

Following breakfast, attend a briefing at the RDB Headquarters before embarking on the Bisoke Volcano hike. The trek to the crater lake takes about four hours uphill and two hours downhill. After returning to your lodge for lunch, visit the Iby’iwacu cultural village for an immersive experience of traditional music, dance, and local customs. Day 4: Golden Monkey Trek and Return to Kigali

Begin the day with a golden monkey trek in Volcanoes National Park, spending an hour observing these charming primates. Afterward, check out and drive back to Kigali, stopping for lunch and some souvenir shopping along the way. Finally, proceed to Kigali International Airport for your departure.
