Tour Plan

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Our guides will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala in the morning. Enjoy a scenic drive, with a stop at the Equator for coffee and photos. Continue through vibrant villages and lush tea estates until you reach the park. As you approach the escarpment, admire the breathtaking views of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have lunch either along the way or at the lodge, depending on the timing. After checking in, explore the nearby village and Crater Lake, time permitting. In the evening, relax at the lodge and soak in the stunning scenery.

Day 2: Game Drive and Launch Cruise

Start your day with an early breakfast, then set off for a morning game drive at 7:00 AM. Spot the famous Big Five, including buffalo, elephants, and lions, along with other mammals like bushbucks, kobs, and hyenas. In the afternoon, enjoy a launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel at 3:00 PM. Watch for large numbers of elephants, hippos, buffalo, and crocodiles, and spot various bird species, including the rare shoebill. After the boat tour, embark on a short evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Kampala

After an early breakfast, head to Kalinzu Forest at 6:00 AM for chimpanzee tracking. Observe these fascinating primates playing and swinging on trees in their natural habitat. After the trek, start your journey back to Kampala, with a stop for lunch at The Equator. You will arrive in Kampala in the late evening, where we will drop you off at your hotel.
